Second semester has started and I can't believe we are more than halfway through the school year!  I am looking forward to some great learning in the next 4 1/2 months.

Wow, have the last 4 weeks flown by!  I am settling into my new classroom and really enjoying getting to know all of my students.   On September 26, student council was given the opportunity to run the canteen for the grade 7/8 soccer tournament and it was a great day.  We had beautiful weather, exciting soccer and everyone had fun working the canteen, it was a great way for me to get to know some of the students outside of the classroom.  Another highlight this month is our cloning experiement in science. We have started our clones of the coleus plant and hopefully in a few weeks we will have plants that are ready to be transplanted.
